Hard Music Festival

Location: Outskirts of Chinatown, formerly the railyard, formerly the art project known as the corn fields, currently a park.
70,000 strong came.
They came to dance, to play, to subvert the usual norms. Did you get high?
The bullhorn blared out the restrictions on what the concert goers were not allowed to bring in: "No weapons, no drugs, no video cameras, no furry items, no gloves, no pacifiers, etc."
All three drug sniffing K-9s got contact highs from the concert goers. Symptoms were a like a severe case of Ecstasy overdose. Two of the K-9s went into cardiac arrest. Later on, all three K-9s were found to be dancing and partying with the ravers on stage into the wee morning hours.
